Greetings to the CMS community,!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Carol Stark and I am the Early Childhood Coordinator as well as an Early Intervention Teacher. I work with the primary grades; pre-kinder, kindergarten, grades 1 and 2.
My role at CMS is quite varied, working with teachers, staff, children and families. My educational experiences has been primarily in New York State where I had been a teacher, curriculum coordinator and primary school administrator for over 29 years.
Currently I am supporting students in kindergarten and grade 1 both in and outside of the classroom for intervention. Working with staff, I am helping to align classroom practices to the benchmarks, modeling how to plan and deliver strategic, individualized instruction for small groups of students within the classroom as well as pre-k through grade 5 student portfolio development.
I look forward to meeting many of you and your families at one of the many exciting school programs planned during the year. You will find my office in the Optimal Learning Center (OLC), Room 36.
