My name is Carmen Rivera (Ms. C for my dear little artists). This is my 6th wonderful year in CMS and I teach Art to Kinder and music to Pre-Kinder through 1st grade.
This year I will enrich the Music and Art Curriculum with new materials and great ideas I got during summer workshops at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut.

You can always join any of your children's classes, you are always welcome to participate and share with us!
We are going to start learning songs for the Holiday Season!
You can help your children to learn all the songs and rhymes for this joyfull season.
You can find the lyrics and rhymes in the class documents section.
We have new dates for the Christmas shows:
Pre-kinder Show is on December 17 at 10:00 A.M. (The children will wear outfits with Christmas Colors: red, green, white and a Christmas hat).
Kinder Performance will be on December 17 too at 12:00 P.M.(students will wearChristmas color clothes and any kind of Coloful Christmas hat: Santa's, reindeer's, elf's, etc.)
1st grade is going to perform next December 18 at 12:00 P.M. (1st graders are going to wear a costume from any country that they have available, folk or Christmas Colors Clothes, no jeans please) (Girls could use Poinsettia flowers instead of regular ones for example)
All the performances will be in the H.S. Library.
You can help decorating the Shows and make a Children happy by bringing one toy (or more), new or in good condition so we can donate them to the differents institutions CMS helps, like: Aldeas Infantiles, Jackie's House, etc.
