Thank
you for being here this afternoon as we will be spending some valuable time to
gain feedback from you about our school including the school climate,
professional development, principals, curriculum, other services, and job
satisfaction. We will now begin to collect this important information
every year from you because it is critical to the success of our organization
that we get your input. This Annual Faculty Survey will be reviewed by
the administration team, the business offices, the Board, and school committees
to learn what is going well and what needs to be improved as individuals,
teams, and an organization. The results and a plan of action will be
shared with teachers each year because we know you need to know that your input
is not only valued but is used to make decisions and bring positive changes to
our schools.
It
is an anonymous survey, we are not asking you to put your name anywhere nor are
we tracking which computer people used, so please feel totally comfortable
being honest and open. The goal of the survey is not to pinpoint
individuals but to look for patterns and trends so that we can make CMS the
best it can be.
The
SWAC committee, which is made up of your colleagues, has spent a considerable
amount of time creating a thorough and comprehensive survey. It may be
longer than most surveys you take, but it is meant to encompass the different
facets of the organization and please keep in mind that this survey will become
an essential part of our yearly evaluation, planning and development. So,
please take your time with each question and know that the quality of your
feedback and reflections is deeply appreciated!!!
Lastly,
please note that when the term school is used it is meant to mean your school,
the elementary school. In cases where it is meant to be all 3 schools,
the entire organization, it will say k-12 in parenthesis. So, you may now begin
the survey, if you have any questions while taking it, please just get my
attention and I will come around to hopefully help clarify.
